Four killed in car bombing at Baghdad restaurant



At least four Iraqis were killed when a car bomb exploded outside a popular restaurant in Baghdad on Thursday said security officials . It took place in the predominantly Shiite district of Shola in northeastern Baghdad , officials from the interior and defence ministries told AFP . Four people were killed and thirteen wounded when a car bomb that was parked on the side of the road blew up and women were among the wounded . In a separate incident , a suicide driver targeting an American petrol blew his vehicle 37 kilometres (23 miles) northeast of the dangerous central city of Baquba Thursday morning and wounded seven civilians . I think what they did was wrong because it hurt a lot of people .

NCSS to increase the number of social workers



The National Council of Social Service is expecting more Singaporeans to seek social assistance during the economic downturn . So it is increasing the number of social workers , psychology specialists , special schools therapists and support officers needed . There are altogether 140 vacancies and those who can speak other languages other than English will be in high demand . Most people seeking help are usually more comfortable sharing their problems in their mother tongue . A job fair will be held on 8 March 2009 to seek for more people are willing to help them . The chief executive officer of NCSS said that they need more social workers and more ethnic speaking social workers so that they can be closer to the clients and able to meet their needs better . I think what they did was right because it can help the needy people .

Two Singaporeans embrace challenges to attain new sporting heights

I think what they did was right because one of them wants to train himself to the extent and the other wants to compete with himself . Kua Harn Wei competes in ultra-triathlons , and said that it is for pure challenge and he wants to train himself to the extent . Just the opposite , Thaddeus Lawrence does not care if he comes last . He said that it is all about having that dream and wanting to do it and he said that he is not competing with others , but competing with himself . They gave some tips that says : Give yourself the chance to experience the fun and excitement , do it step by step . It could be a running race , it could be climbing a mountain , whatever . Please go out and do something crazy . I think everyone should .

I think what they did was right .It widens the Stamford corner for overtaking of the Formula One race .The world's first night race was caught by close to a hundred thousand spectators at trackside . Local illusionists to perform at Chingay 2009.

I think what they did was right because it cheers people up and also makes people shocked ad surprised. It is at the City Hall .Lawrence,is going to burn himself for not what most stunt men do , which is 30 seconds ,he try to burn himself for a minute .Lawrence started Project Smile ,which stands for ''Sharing Magic In Love Everywhere'', in 2002. Since then ,he and his daughter have been conducting lessons magic in place like Singapore and China , where participants will perform tricks for the less fortunate .I think it is very exciting ,I wish I could watch them perform!

Some Singaporeans celebrate Christmas with a difference.

I think what they did was right,because they can make a difference to the normal Christmas celebration and celebrate in a more happy and exciting way .Mr Ang ,went to little India ,to provide meals for the homeless and unemployed migrants.He will also be providing them meals for the next few weeks .Mr Chung is a novice friar in the midst of his eight-year training .He spends his Christmas in prayer and reflection .As he is in his twenties in is quite hard for him .I like all this kind of outdoor activities especially helping people in needs.

I think that what they did was wrong because what they did was considered illegally transferring money it is a crime and so illegally transferring money is not a good thing and if you transfer money illegally , you will be sentenced or jailed .They should not have whisked out $3.9 million of Singapore to Hong Kong and put it in their Swiss banks .It will affect my family and I by taking our money not to give to the poor but to use it themselves .I will donate lesser than before but not too less .No matter what ,I will try my best to donate money to the needy people .

Six dead as gun totting Santa open fire ,kills self .

I think what he did was wrong because he wears as a Santa and went into a house which he does not know and shot down all the six people there and went back home and shot himself down too to let the police not suspect that he is the one who shot down six of them and this idea was very cunning .He should go into the house and friendly give out sweets instead ,not to commit a crime .The other people are doing the right things because they thought a Santa is coming to give sweets and presents but not to kill them .They should have been more cautious and know that the Santa is a stranger who act it out so they must be careful .
